Boudoir FAQ

  • Is there an age limit to take part in Boudoir photography


Yes all clients must be 18 and over to be able to take part in a boudoir portrait shoot. ID maybe required.
  • What Editing will be done

I have over 14 years experience in editing using the industry standard software to advanced levels to bring out the best possible quality. This is a FAQ boudoir photography question asked.

I can remove spots, scars, blemishes, tattoos etc it is also possible to re sculpture body Areas on request.

Please let me know what your requirements are prior to your shoot.

  • How will I know how to pose?

I will direct you exactly how to pose for your boudoir photography, which will be simple arm and body movements, and facial expressions.

  • Some of your Images are quite Erotic do I have to be so Raunchy?

I aim to show a variety of styles in my galleries, Everyone has a different take on what is Raunchy or sexy is, It can be a suggestion to tease rather than reveal. I work to both spectrums and if you want to keep to just lingerie, or night wear throughout the shoot, that’s no problem.

We want you to be as comfortable as possible during your shoot because it is your shoot and an experience to remember.

*Please note I do not cater for explicit images or pornographic images I am a professional portrait photographer and thus provide a quality of service which reflects the business industry that I am in Fine art images are acceptable. Please contact me for details.

  • I haven’t got a model like figure, can you make me look sexy?

My clients come in all shapes, sizes and ages. I photograph women from ages 18 to 60s+ and is another popular FAQ boudoir photography question.

I do not discriminate from any of the above, I can pose you in different lighting conditions to your personal shape, so you can see yourself at your best.

  •  Q How many changes of outfit can I fit in?

I am happy for a couple of changes of either lingerie, night wear, sheer etc, which ever you’re most comfortable with.

  • Do you work Evenings and weekends?

I do work Evenings and weekends to suit your busy lifestyle requirements.

  • Can I bring someone with me?

You are more than welcome to bring along a friend or partner along for moral support. It is not suitable for Children, however.

 

  • I am having a maternity shoot, can I bring my other children along to the shoot

It is advisable not to bring children along to the studio or at a home location during a shoot.

  • Do you do hair and make up?

Many of my Boudoir photography packages can come with a makeover & hairstyling, contact me if you would like this option added. Options for MUA. A great and popular FAQ boudoir photography question.

  • How far in advance do I need to book?

I would suggest at least 2-4 weeks in advance to make sure I can process your photos & order them in time for your presentation of them etc.

  • Who will be in the studio during the shoot?

The only people present will be myself and makeup artist if so required.

  • Where do we change outfits?

The studio I operate provides a separate luxury changing room for you to change outfits complete with mirror and excellent lighting warm in the winter, cool in the summer.

  • What sort of outfits should I bring?

Boudoir lingerie, night wear or shear required, or multiple clothing that you would like to be photographed in and be most comfortable in during your shoot.

  • I don’t want prints or an album, can I just have the digital files?

You can purchase your photos or flash drive, these files will be high-resolution Digital downloads can of course be purchased.

  • How long do I have to order extra images?

I will hold your files for up to one year after your shoot if you need more photographs.

  • Will my images be on your website.

Your Photographs are very important to my work, and I feel a sense of pride & privilege showcasing a small selection of your photos. This would benefit other clients wishing to try Boudoir photography. Feel free to contact me more about this.

  • Do you offer a contract of sorts…

I do like to ask on occasions clients to complete a model release form to fully understand what is being photographed. However, it is not a mandatory option.

  • What if I have to cancel my shoot…

All bookings taken would need a small deposit and cancellations must be made at least two weeks prior to your shoot, to avoid loss of deposit.

  • Do I cater for Nude or Semi Nude Portraits?

On occasions, I am asked if I cater for Nude portraits, Fine art modern style portraits, are possible in a controlled environment. However, due to the sensitive nature of the material, it maybe subjects to restricted printing.

This may only be purchasable via digital downloads or uploaded to you,  For details please contact me direct for your style of shoot.
