If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

 

Galleries

All photo shoots, and weddings are provided for the most part, each gallery is sent to you to share with family and friends as you see fit.

NB Galleries are live for approx. 3 months, after which they will be deleted without prior notification.

If clients require an extended gallery duration, they are requested to contact me direct.

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

Photography Terms and Conditions for Simon Everett Photography, Kent

1. Exclusive Photographer. The Photographer shall be the exclusive photographer retained by the Client for the purpose of photographing the session. Guests, family, and friends of the Client shall not be permitted to photograph during the session. Third parties at wedding functions and family gatherings are subject to photographs being taken under the clause of the function or permission of the host or event.

2. Photographer Style. The photographer will compose, shoot, and edit the photos to the style depicted in his/her portfolio. Client input will be taken into consideration, but the final decision is at the discretion of the photographer. It is asked the friends or family of the client who may be present at the shoot not interrupt the session.

3. Copyright and Reproductions. The Photographer shall own the copyright in all images created and shall have the exclusive right to make reproductions. The Photographer shall only make reproductions for the Client or for the Photographer’s portfolio, samples, self-promotions, entry in photographic contests or art exhibitions, editorial use, website, or for display within or on the outside of the Photographer’s studio.

4. Client’s Usage.  If The Client is obtaining prints for personal use only, and shall not sell said prints. If the Client is obtaining a print for newspaper announcement of the wedding, editorial use or website, the Photographer authorizes the Client to reproduce the print in this manner. In such event, the Client shall run a credit for the Photographer adjacent to the photograph. The client may purchase a CD/USB with a print release to allow them to have the images printed at any local photo lab or home printer. Clients may not modify or edit the images in any way.

5. Model release. In exchange for consideration received, I hereby give permission to Simon Everett Photography Kent to use my name and photographic likeness in all forms and media for advertising, trade, and any other lawful purposes.

6. Payment Policy. Any session fees must be paid before services are rendered. Any product fees must be paid before the product is delivered. Checks are accepted, but they must clear before products are released. There is a £20 fee on returned checks. In the event that work has been carried out however the client no longer requires my services, there will be a charge of £75* per day for time already rendered. Please also see below DEPOSIT policies*

*Deposits subject to types of work required, please see below under Deposits.

All deposits must be paid before any studio or location work can be secured, all deposits are non-refundable, and will be forfeit if clients cannot reasonably notify me in a period of no less than 48hrs or fail to arrive/cancel for a session or studio booking. After which a new deposit must be provided in order to book in once more.

7. Final Image Delivery. The Photographer will provide approximately 20 proofs for selecting prints from in an online gallery. The images will be uploaded to the gallery within approximately 2-4 weeks for clients to place their print order online if so desired.

8. Digital Negatives. Raw files or negatives are property of the photographer, “Simon Everett Photography Kent” and will not be delivered to the client(s). Clients will may not receive ALL photos taken, but will receive the best images at the photographer’s discretion. The photographer reserves the right to discard of blurry photos, eyes closed, or images not fit for purpose etc. If RAW files are required, there will be a separate negotiated price to purchase them, please contact for further details.

9. Minimum Order. The session fee is due to reserve your date and time slot, and is non-refundable. If a print order is placed, there is a £50 print order minimum.

10. Product photography. All product photography will be completed and proof images provided prior to download access. Work carried out and photo selections made are to be paid prior to release, unless special arrangements made. All pricing is subject to change upon update of this website, pricing will be discussed with the client and Simon Everett Photography Kent if a one-off product shoot prices are show on the product photography web page. If however a returning client may wish to set up a regular product line shoot, then a discounted price per image can be negotiated, this arrangement would typically be valid for a period of 2-3 month period pending regular work being provided at regular intervals.

11. Wedding albums

Ref: Policy concerning wedding albums:

For wedding couples, purchasing any wedding package which includes a wedding album choice will be honoured for the duration of
A cut-off period of no greater than a 1-year time frame.

Any client after this time period, trying to claim their wedding album would be subject to an extra charges for album & commercial supplier price increases.

Please ensure that within 1 year period after the date of your venue date you arrange to complete your wedding album and proofing sent to you as per your
wedding photography package & agreement. Additional charges may apply if left longer than one year and beyond.

 

12.Deposits.

Current status to date on the policy of Deposits are as follows:

12.1 Weddings

Weddings generally deposits start at £200 unless otherwise stated or agreed to by Simon Everett Photography Kent and the client, lower deposits can be automatic if basic packages are purchased.

12.2 Studio portraits and courses

If booking a studio shoot a £75 deposit will be required prior to booking

Shoots that have requested a makeover artist for such shoots as glamour or model shoot, or indeed any shoot requiring a Makeup artist to be sourced, would be charged at £105

12.3 Product photography

All product photography is subject to a deposit prior to work commencing, this can range from £75 to £150 dependent on the type of work required which may involved travel time and expense.

All deposits are non-refundable unless cancelled by Simon Everett Photography Kent. Any client that does not arrive or provide details of late arrival or no communication will be subject to a non refund policy.

 

13. Cancellation process.

13.1 Cancellation process for weddings.

If requesting a cancelled wedding from the client, the client will lose the deposit of all monies paid prior to the 30 day final balance due date, if cleints wish to cancel after the final balance date and all monies have been paid the client will loose the stated depoist plus £150 of the final balance for short notice cancellation.

Under certain circumstances proven a client may only loose the deposit paid if after the final balance date 30 days prior to there venue date.

 

13.2 Studio & Location shoot.

 

All studio pre-booked shoots must provide 72 hours notice prior to booking.

If the full amount of the booking has already been paid the client will forfeit the deposit only.

In the case of deposit only been paid this will be non refundable.

13.3 Product photography.

All depsoits paid are non refundable, further payments made will be refunded if no work has been carried out.

If a certain amount of work has been carried out a charge will be calculated. Between Simon Everett Photography Kent & the client.

Simon Everett Photography kent Drone course terms & Conditions

Drone course terms and conditions

In the event of bringing your own drone.

Section A CAA and governing body

All drones must be legally able to fly before commencing any drone course.

Drone laws are in place on drone weight and if over 249g you are required to register your drone via the CAA website, with this you will receive a flying ID and operator ID, this must also be attached to the drone in case stopped or questioned by police.

Section B insurance

Drones are expensive and as such having insurance will help cover accidents and hazards it will also be a requirement if you are thinking of using your drone for either commercial work or indeed flying near people, buildings and vehicles. If just a hobbyist you must follow the drone code at all times.

And do not fly near emergency vehicle locations, prisons, hospital, airports, military installations, schools, or generally above uninvolved people, buildings, and vehicles, including boats.

Section C Drone condition

All drones brought along to any of my courses must be in good working order.

You are responsible for your drone and its condition ranging from the Drone unit itself, propellers batteries, and anything in connection with your drone. Simon Everett Photography Kent is not responsible for any loss or, malfunction of drones whilst completing the course.
